Our values are enclosed in the letters of the word osteria: hospitality, simplicity, tradition, experience, refreshment, informality and friendship. Our mission is to preserve and offer the traditional recipes and the typical cuisine of these places, which has its roots in its history and in the landscape itself (hills, mountain pastures, Dora Baltea river basin). Traditional dishes are therefore to be found as the dishes of the day, not always readily available in classic restaurants. Simplicity in the service, which means our dishes are served in the characteristic copper pans, and maximum care in everything that is home-made (including agnolotti, fresh pasta, desserts, ...) "We are what we eat": this is why we use only local meat, cold cuts, cheeses and wines, as well as all ingredients and fresh vegetables, according to the season and whenever possible, are provided by small local producers.Read More

You are in one of the oldest parts of Berceto! The square in front of the entrance was once the center of the town and the cobbled street that led you to this is the famous Via Francigena, which from distant Canterbury and all over Europe led pilgrims who wanted indulgence for their sins. It was a long and dangerous journey and the community of Berceto has always given hospitality and refreshment to those who passed by. Outside the town walls, the pilgrims had to face the dangers of the Apennine mountains: snow, cold and above all, brigands! Set at 800 meters above sea level Berceto is counted among the authentic villages of Italy and has always attracted attention for its summers with a perfect climate, fresh air and breathtaking sunsets. Visit the mysterious Romanesque Duomo a stone's throw from here, get lost in the "schivadebit", the narrow streets of the old town, or climb to watch the sunset over the ruins of the Castle Conti Rossi. By the way, everyone knows it now, Berceto is the mountain village closest to the sea, a place you can only fall in love with.Read More
